1 It is preferable to bring your own motorcycle helmet. However, we have extra helmets available in limited sizes/quantities. All media who travel on motorcycles with the race caravan will be required to sign a liability waiver. Long sleeve shirts/jackets and pants should be worn. It is highly recommended that you wear full leather jackets and pants for maximum safety protection in the event of a fall. The decision to permit a passenger to ride on the back of a moto is reserved exclusively by the driver and not appealable. This option is not a guaranteed service and will be granted on an availability basis only subject to the Tour de Toona's own internal priorities.
2 This option is generally only available to photographers with experience shooting finish line shots at bike races. Due to the danger of being in such close proximity to cyclists inside of the barriers and the chance of obstructing other photographers, access to the finish line from within the barriers will be granted only to those photographers who follow specific guidelines. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in serious injury and/or death and will result in revocation of finish line access.
